
Examinations at our clinic will be carried out on the basis of a recommendation from a specialist or general practitioner, after a diagnosis of cancer has been made, by telephone appointment at 466 686 541 or 466 686 542 (for patient appointments, please call after 12 noon, thank you). On the day of the appointment, please come to the building of the Comprehensive Cancer Centre of the Pardubice Region (No. 24) and report to the reception. It is not necessary to come on an empty stomach, please bring your health insurance card, a referral from a specialist doctor, or copies of any medical documentation you have. The first contact with you will take place in the so-called consultation room, where the following procedures will be performed:
- Medical history (information needed to analyse your health)
- Family history (serious illness in the family)
- Personal history (past illnesses, operations)
- Medications currently taken
- For women, information on menstrual cycle, births...
- Names of general practitioner, gynaecologist for women and other specialists seen
- Identification of your current health problems
- Physical examination by a doctor
- Completion of other necessary examinations (sonography, CT, MRI, PET/CT, laboratory tests....)
- Evaluation of all results, conclusion of the diagnosis, including the stage of the disease
- Proposal of therapeutic approach
You will receive your personal order card, where the dates of the individual examinations or the start of the oncological treatment will be recorded.
If further examinations or information is required, a final conclusion with recommendations will be made at subsequent visits to the outpatient clinic.

According to the conclusions of our doctor's examination, you will be indicated for one or a combination of the following treatment modalities.
- Radiation treatment
- Cytostatic treatment
- Targeted (biological) treatment
- Hormonal treatment
