The match itself took place on Saturday 19 November 2022 at the Hořovice Ice Stadium under the name "Match for Oncology". The hockey duel was preceded by an introductory speech by the representative of the City of Žebrák Marie Rumpíková and the honorary throw-in was performed by the Mayor of Žebrák Pavel Horázný himself .
"We would like to thank the entire Spartak Žebrák hockey team for coming up with the idea to support the oncology centre. November is inherently etched in people's memory with the global Movember event, which aims to popularize the prevention of mainly male oncological diseases. I believe that many people will now also remember the hockey match that took place in November, which raised an impressive amount of money that we will use to modernise the oncology department," described Ing. Mgr. Martina Kulštejnová, Director of Multiscan s.r.o.
"This was a special match in which HC Spartak Žebrák wanted to help cancer patients, especially those with breast, testicular and prostate cancer, with the help of all the partners of this event, whom we would like to thank very much! We dare to say that the event has already fulfilled its purpose and the total amount raised is 92 881 CZK," said Marek Potěšil, the organizer of the event.
