After a one-year break, which was necessitated by the replacement of the old irradiator with a new modern Wolf-Medizintechnik T-200 X-ray irradiator and its installation in the new premises, patients can now make appointments again by calling +420 466 016 400.
Treatment with the irradiator is preceded by an initial examination by a doctor at the outpatient clinic in the irradiation building No. 30 on the premises of Pardubice Hospital. The patient will bring a referral for non-tumour therapy to the initial examination by the doctor and the referring doctor will arrange for X-ray images to be sent. If the patient has already received non-cancer radiotherapy treatment at another institution, he/she will bring a copy of the documentation including information about the doses administered.
The therapeutic X-ray irradiator for the treatment of non-cancerous diseases is newly located at the Vektor polyclinic in Rokycanová Street in Pardubice, where, among other things, ultrasound, magnetic resonance imaging, CT - computed tomography and diagnostic X-ray are located. Treatment with the X-ray irradiator for non-cancer therapy is carried out every Tuesday and Thursday. The usual number of fractions is 3-4, treatment is carried out twice a week.
