For the fifth time in our region, the Circles organized in cooperation with the Avon March Against Breast Cancer an event focused on breast cancer prevention awareness - Circles on the Wings of Hope.

"Personally, I have more children than hands. And yet, or because of that, it is important for me to help. And also to motivate in a meaningful way in the form of courage and strength that can sincerely come from our children in particular," says Květa Štěrbová, director of the non-profit organization Kroužky East Bohemia. For the fifth time in our region, Kroužky organized an event in cooperation with the Avon March Against Breast Cancer aimed at raising awareness of breast cancer prevention - Kroužky na Křídlech naděje. For this unusual event, a traditionally strong location was chosen, after last year's Chateau - Larisch Villa, we now chose the fabulous courtyard of the Kunětická hora State Castle, adds Květa Štěrbová.

The opening ceremony was attended by the proud patron of the Wings of Hope, the Deputy Chairwoman of the Senate of the Czech Republic, Mrs. Miluše Horská, and the expert guarantor of the project, MUDr. Vít Ulrych from the Multiscan Oncology Centre.

The relaxing afternoon was held in the spirit of sincere joy of children from individual performances of the Circles, pleasant meeting of friends and of course admiration for the natural beauty of women. This was not only during Edita Dlouhá's original fashion show and her elegant wearable fashion, but also, for example, during the evening performance of the Exil Theatre on the theme of the First Republic story of the Vanity of Vanities.

There was great interest among the young visitors in the dragon, who lives in the castle and has not yet had a name. In a poll, the children chose the name Blekota. They were probably inspired by the story of the wizard Rumburak, who is one of the local celebrities thanks to the filming of the TV series Arabela.

On the courtyard of the state castle Kunětická hora, nearly a thousand people gathered on the first Sunday of June to support the fight against breast cancer, for example by buying a traditional pink T-shirt or releasing balloons to the sound of the Avon March anthem.

"I hope that this beneficial event will also raise awareness of this serious disease and that we will be able to get even more women to have breast screening. Thanks to this, we will then encounter lower stages of the disease, which then have a high probability of a complete cure," adds Vít Ulrych.
