Since last week, the new Logiq S8 XDclear ultrasound machine has been in operation, featuring not only unique ultrasound signal transmission technology, but also state-of-the-art technical equipment.

High-quality and comprehensive care, human approach, pleasant environment and last but not least modern equipment elevate top medical facilities above the good ones. The need for continuous improvement is also recognised by Multiscan's radiodiagnostic department, which has recently purchased a top-of-the-range Logiq S8 XDclear ultrasound from GE Healthcare.

The all-digital ultrasound system features a unique technology for transmitting, receiving and processing the ultrasound signal, providing maximum image quality in all imaging modes.

The system excels in ease of use, especially with its auxiliary colour LCD touch screen. The ultrasound features a 23" high resolution monitor and 4 electronically switchable active ports for connecting electronic probes.

Probes are available for imaging abdominal organs, soft tissue, blood vessels, heart and examination of young children.

"Although the existing ultrasound is fully functional, we want to move with the times and offer our patients examinations on the best equipment. Thanks to the Logiq S8, we have everything we need for quality diagnostics," says Petra Jiříčková, MD, Head of the Multiscan Radiology Centre.
