"Multiscan approaches the treatment of cancer patients with a responsible approach and the utmost care. However, we also aim to catch potential patients early who have no symptoms of the disease and who can be diagnosed early through a preventive cancer screening. They then, of course, have a good chance of successful treatment. We were also prompted to launch the preventive outpatient clinic by the demand, which clearly shows that people are increasingly concerned about their health and do not want to underestimate anything," said Multiscan's director Ing. Mgr. Martina Kulštejnová.
Comprehensive preventive check-up in one day
The whole process of preventive examination is designed to maximize the chance of detecting possible cancer changes at the earliest possible stage. It includes a comprehensive examination by a specialist, laboratory blood and urine tests, and testing using diagnostic instruments and methods depending on the client's gender.
"The examination takes place at two Multiscan workplaces - at the Clinical Oncology Outpatient Clinic on the premises of Pardubice Hospital and then at the Radiodiagnostics Department at the Vektor Polyclinic in Pardubice, where the diagnostic part will take place. Clients over 18 years of age with risk factors or concerns or interest in their health can make an appointment. The complete examination will then take place within one day," added the head of clinical oncology, MUDr. Dana Dvořáková.
