This important holiday has been celebrated around the world every May 12 since 1965. The date refers to the birth of Florence Nightingale, who was the founder and pioneer of the nursing profession. Her footsteps have been tirelessly followed by generations of nurses who have dedicatedly cared for their patients.
With the coronavirus pandemic lasting more than a year, all nurses have to work with even greater effort and dedication. That is why International Nurses' Day is more important than ever this year.
So let us thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the work you do and wish you health, strength and determination for the years ahead, both personally and professionally.
