The Infocutek is designed to provide quick and easy-to-understand information not only on the treatment itself, but also on other areas of life affected by the disease.
Individual services
Together with the care coordinator, the infocourt worker is available to patients who need to ask questions or find out practical information that is closely related to their treatment, such as check-up dates, the time and place of their next visit or telephone contacts. However, the actual treatment process and professional recommendations are the sole responsibility of their treating doctor.
Patients can also be referred to institutions or organisations that provide social or psychological support beyond the services of the cancer centre via the infocouple. They can also find out, for example, where to buy a suitable wig or compensatory aids.
Fast and effective support
The aim of the Info Corner is to ensure that patients do not feel alone during their treatment. In addition to specialist treatment, they often need practical support. Thanks to the services of an on-site worker, links with non-profit organisations and other institutions, they can easily access useful services and programmes.
"We want our patients to know that they have somewhere to turn not only with questions about the treatment process, but also about the everyday situations that the disease brings," says Multiscan Ltd. director Ing. Mgr. Martina Kulštejnová.
Contact point directly in the central oncology building
The Infocourt is located on the ground floor of the Clinical Oncology Building on the premises of Pardubice Hospital and is freely accessible to all patients and their companions every weekday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
