The rich afternoon programme included an informal meeting of medical students with the director, senior doctors, head nurse and young doctors of our centre. The program included a detailed tour of the facility and a discussion of what future doctors are most interested in.
Refreshments were available throughout the meeting and at the end we gave out small gifts to the students who visited us. In addition, two of the students took away a voucher worth 1,000 CZK to the Greek restaurant FILEMA in Prague.
"We were delighted with the interest in our workplace. Students came to us not only from nearby Hradec Králové, but also from Prague and Brno. Immediately after the event we were contacted by several students who would like to work with us in the future. We take this as an indicator that activities of this type make sense and are another means of reaching out to future young doctors," said the spokesperson of the Multiscan Oncology and Radiology Centre Mgr. Naďa Hloušová.
