ISOLATOR: vacuum box for the preparation of cytostatics

The pharmaceutical service of the Multiscan Oncology and Radiology Centre is provided by pharmacists and pharmacy assistants of Multiscan Pharma. Infusions and injections of oncology drugs are prepared in special vacuum boxes or isolators located in aseptic areas of the pharmacy. Cytostatics and newer, specific-acting drugs can be prepared not only well but also safely with this space and instrumentation. The isolator shown in the illustrative picture is therefore an essential piece of equipment for a pharmacy preparing oncology drugs.
