The theme of this year's fundraiser is the prevention of kidney, bladder and prostate cancer and its risk factors, which include smoking, excessive drinking of alcohol, consumption of sausages, grilled and fried meat. On the other hand, prevention is a healthy lifestyle and plenty of physical activity.
The project is organised by the League Against Cancer, a non-profit organisation whose main goal is to reduce cancer mortality, which it seeks to achieve through several programmes: cancer prevention and education for a healthy lifestyle, improving the quality of life of cancer patients, and supporting oncological research and instrumentation of oncology departments.
"We are pleased that our cooperation with the League continues and that we can support the well-known and successful Czech Day Against Cancer project by purchasing flowers for patients and employees every year. We wish the organisers to raise as much money as possible to be used for cancer treatment and research," said the spokeswoman of Multiscan s.r.o. Naďa Hloušová.
