The theme of this year's fundraiser is the prevention of kidney, bladder and prostate cancer and its risk factors, which include smoking, excessive drinking of alcohol, consumption of sausages, grilled and fried meat. On the other hand, prevention is a healthy lifestyle and plenty of physical activity.
The organiser of the project is the non-profit organisation League Against Cancer, whose main goal is to reduce cancer mortality, which it tries to achieve through several programmes - cancer prevention and education for a healthy lifestyle, improving the quality of life of cancer patients and supporting oncological research and instrumentation of oncological workplaces.
"We are glad that our cooperation with the League continues and that we can annually support the well-known and successful Czech Day Against Cancer project by purchasing flowers for patients and employees. We wish the organisers to raise as much money as possible to be used for cancer treatment and research," said the spokeswoman of Multiscan s.r.o. Naďa Hloušová.
