LINEAR ACCELERATOR
Varian Medical Systems' True BEAM linear accelerators are capable of irradiating patients with dynamic IMRT and RapidArc technology. Image-guided radiotherapy is used, allowing irradiation at defined phases of the respiratory cycle by means of a "respiratory gating" system, as well as the application of high-precision stereotactic radiotherapy.
It is a high quality device that meets all current requirements for radiation treatment.
COMPUTED TOMOGRAPHY (CT)
The Siemens SOMATOM Definition AS is used by both the radiology and radiotherapy departments. It is specially designed for the needs of radiation simulation, radiotherapy planning including 4D CT, which does not prevent its use for routine diagnostic examinations.
BRACHYTERAPY
Here we use the Gammamed irradiator with the Eclipse planning system with the BrachyVision module. This type of radiation is used alone or as an adjunct to external radiation. In brachytherapy, a small radioactive source of the irradiation device is introduced into the patient's body by a special device. It delivers radiation to the body in a short time (a few minutes) and then leaves the patient's body. Some applicators have also been created at our own facility.
MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING
The Siemens Magnetom Avanto and Siemens Magnetom Skyra devices are used for a wide range of examinations, for example of the brain, spine, joints, abdominal and pelvic organs, but also allow angiography.

The equipment at Multiscan also includes an MRI directly for brachytherapy.
NON-TUMOUR RADIOTHERAPY
We use the Wolf T-200 therapeutic X-ray machine for non-tumour (anti-inflammatory) radiotherapy. It enables radiation treatment to be performed for selected inflammatory and degenerative diseases. The aim of the procedure is to relieve discomfort (mainly musculoskeletal pain). It is also used to treat skin tumours.
ULTRAZVUK
The Logiq 8 XDclear device from GE Healthcare is fully digital and features a unique technology for transmitting, receiving and processing ultrasound signals.
RENTGEN
We use a Fomei Covator device with indirect digital scans (electronic images) for the examination.
