Construction in Pardubice Hospital will expand the area and close the main entrance gate

10. 6. 2022

On Monday, 13 June, the construction of the emergency reception building growing in Pardubice Hospital will be extended. This expansion will require temporary closure of the main (upper) entrance gate to the facility. The hospital therefore asks patients and visitors to the hospital to be considerate and respect the traffic signs.

The construction of the Pardubice emergency room is proceeding according to plan and in order to further progress in the construction work it is necessary to move the occupation to the immediate vicinity of the area in front of the hospital pharmacy.

For the public, this encroachment will mean several changes:

  • The main (upper)entrance to the Pardubice Hospital grounds will be closed (except for ambulances).
  • Entry and exit to the premises will be possible only through the lower gate, which will be in continuous operation.
  • Only the pedestrian passage around the hospital pharmacy will be maintained.
  • Patients, visitors and all other visitors to the hospital are asked to move around the premises with extra caution. Drivers are asked to observe the road signs outside and inside the premises.

More information including a map can also be found HERE.

PLEASE NOTE: The pharmacy and medical supplies operations will remain unchanged throughout the occupation despite the above changes.
