Leading Czech healthcare holding AKESO strengthens its management team

The company establishes an external relations section, which will be headed by JUDr. Jaroslav Bartoš as Director. Due to the societal importance of healthcare, the external relations of the entire holding will face new tasks and challenges.

Ing. Pavel Pivrnec, who headed the Multiscan Oncology and Radiodiagnostic Centre in Pardubice. He will be in charge of relations with health insurance companies and contractual and reimbursement issues related to the health care provided, which is significantly expanding due to the current challenging situation in the health care system.

AKESO Holding is one of the leading providers of private healthcare. The holding includes, among others, the health care facilities of the Hořovice Hospital, the Beroun Rehabilitation Hospital, Multiscan Pardubice and the new NH Diagnostic Centre in Prague. AKESO holding employs 1,700 people and its turnover reached CZK 3 billion last year. Most of the income is invested by the owner of the holding Sotirios Zavalianis back into the development and improvement of healthcare.
