The latest issues of the Solen journals Oncology and Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacy have published articles by three of our physicians. The authors of the articles on palliative care were Miroslav Žiaran, MD, Kateřina Nechvátalová, MD, and Tereza Foretová, MD.

Last year, before the holidays, Ondřej Tichý learned that he had cancer. The successful thirty-two-year-old man, a father of three daughters, had his life turned upside down overnight. He promised himself that if everything was all right after a year, he would send some money to charity. In the end, he decided to donate CZK 100,000 to sick children and their families through the Good Angel Foundation.

Supplementation and renewal of equipment aimed at increasing the capacity of diagnostics and technical preparation of treatment of oncology patients and the introduction of advanced radiotherapy methods into clinical practice is financed by the European Union from the Instrument for Recovery and Resilience through the National Recovery Plan of the Czech Republic.
