Obligation to wear a respirator

25. 2. 2021

As of today, 25 February 2021, it is mandatory to wear a respirator in all areas of the Oncology and Radiology Centre.

In view of the worsening state of the COVID-19 epidemic and the spread of the British mutation of the coronavirus, increased respiratory protection is mandatory from today, 25 February 2021.

Everyone is required to wear a respirator to enter our center:

  • A non-rebreather respirator with a filtration efficiency of at least 95% according to the relevant standards (e.g. FFP2/KN95)

With respirators, it does not matter whether they are made of nano-material or not, but what standard the product meets. The FFP2, KN95 marking guarantees up to 95% filtration efficiency for respirators.

The extraordinary measure of the Ministry of Health can be found here. The obligation to wear respirators in health care facilities is valid until further notice.
