The cover page of the 13th issue is decorated by a team of dentists from the Hořovice Hospital. This is mainly because we have renovated this entire department in recent weeks, expanded the range of procedures and purchased several new modern devices that will improve not only diagnostic methods. Martin Rota, MDDr., is now working with the whole team, who belongs to a small group of stoma surgeons who are able to reconstruct missing bone tissue for subsequent placement of dental implants using the BBA (biological bone augmentation) method.
The construction of the Mental Rehabilitation Centre is slowly reaching its final stage. In the magazine you will find an interview with Martin Hollý, MD, a leading Czech psychiatrist and sexologist, who joined the Centre's team in the spring and who, together with Prof. Ján Prašek, is putting together the concept of care that will be available to patients here. The safety of the patients and staff is our first priority, so we recommend you take a look at a real photo of one of the rooms, which includes descriptions of the various safety measures.
We always try to show you that medical staff also have private lives and hobbies in the Siesta section. We are pleased to bring you an interview with the practical nurse of Multiscan Pardubice, energetic Kateřina Heblíková, whose great passion is floorball.
