Multiscan has produced two new educational videos that provide patients with an easy-to-understand overview of the radiation treatment process and preparation. The aim is to provide clear and straightforward information before treatment even begins.
The script for both videos has been prepared by the radiotherapy team, led by radiology assistants, who appear in the videos and explain to patients what to expect. Our aim in creating the videos was also to reduce patients' fears of the unknown, so that they come to our clinic more relaxed.
The first video is generic and explains the entire radiation treatment process - from arriving at the clinic, to preparation, to the actual treatment. The second video focuses specifically on the prostate radiation process, including important preparation before treatment begins.
Both videos are hosted on the Multiscan website and will be available to patients through on-site screenings. This allows them to review all the important information at their leisure and better prepare for their upcoming treatment.
