The first groundbreaking took place in the middle of last year and construction work is still on schedule. Multiscan owner Sotirios Zavalianis estimates that the new building will cost CZK 100 million.
"This investment is being made only by Multiscan with the agreement and support of the owner of Pardubice Hospital - the Pardubice Region. It is primarily about moving the clinical oncology to premises where a higher standard of care will be provided. We also want to unite all our outpatient clinics in the Pardubice hospital under one roof. The premises for the application of systemic oncology treatment will be modern, larger and are designed based on the latest recommendations of architects," says Ing. Pavel Pivrnec, Director of the Oncology and Radiology Centre Multiscan Pardubice.
In addition to the Clinical Oncology Department, the new building will also house the consultation and dispensary outpatient clinics and administration. Not only patients, but also the employees of the centre will be offered more comfortable facilities that they need to perform their work.
Multiscan is part of the Comprehensive Oncology Centre of the Pardubice Region. It operates both in Pardubice and at its three detached workplaces in Chrudim, Ústní nad Orlicí and Svitavy, where there are clinical oncology outpatient clinics with inpatient facilities for the administration of oncological treatment. Multiscan, like the Hořovice Hospital or the Beroun Rehabilitation Hospital, belongs to the Akeso holding of Sotirios Zavalianis.
