Upon arrival at the Pardubice Hospital, she was welcomed together with her escort by the doctor and Multiscan spokesman MUDr. Vít Ulrych. At the beginning, the owner of Multiscan Ing. S. Zavalianis introduced Her Excellency to the history and development of our cancer centre. Furthermore, our cutting-edge technology and the most modern methods of radiotherapy were presented to the Ambassador by the leading doctor of our centre, doc. MUDr. J. Vaňásek, CSc., Deputy for Science and Research prof. MUDr. K. Odrážka, Ph.D, Head of Radiotherapy doc. MUDr. M. Doležel, Ph.D. and Deputy Head of Radiation and Clinical Oncology MUDr. I. Kolářová, Ph.D. At the end of the meeting the director of Multiscan Ing. P. Pivrnec presented to the ambassador the plans for the development of our centre in the future years.
Basic information about the Ambassador of the PRC in the Czech Republic
Ma Keqing, after completing her university studies, has been in the diplomatic service of the People's Republic of China since 1976. She served as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Finland from 2005 to 2009. She then became Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Communist Party of China Committee at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China. From 2012 to 2013, she was Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Philippines. She has been based in the Czech Republic since 2014.
