The island of Kos was chosen partly because of its symbolism - it is the place where the most famous doctor of all times, the ancient Hippocrates, was born and worked, but also because it is one of the most beautiful Greek resorts. The Atlantis hotel complex, located right on the beach, is set in well-kept gardens with exotic flora.
"I was lucky enough to be rewarded with a trip to the Greek island of Kos. I spent a lovely sunny week with my family on this beautiful Hippocratic island, relaxed and came to other thoughts. Very enjoyable were the walks to the nearby capital of Kos, where there were many sights, tavernas and the harbour. We also visited the three surrounding islands of Kalymnos, Pserimos and Plati. We even saw dolphins from the boat, which was a great experience especially for the children. We managed to drive around the whole island in a rented car, visited the mountain town of Zia, where we had a real Greek atmosphere thanks to the typical blue and white buildings and had a wonderful view of the northern coast of Kos. We also visited a beautiful deserted beach on the Kefalos peninsula - Agios Thelogos, and the hot thermal springs that spring from a rock near the capital directly into the sea thanks to the nearby volcanic island of Nissyros were very interesting. I fell in love with Greece, I am very grateful to our owner, I really appreciate it," says the nurse from the Clinical Oncology Clinic in Svitavy Bc. Naďa Zelená.
Our employees were also able to visit the first ancient hospital Asklepion and other ancient monuments in Kos, which is said to be one of the most beautiful Greek cities. They walked past ancient houses, a knight's castle and hugged the legendary Hippocrates plane tree.
