The Janeček Foundation awarded the title #laskavec to Věra Rybová

Věra Venuše Rybová started her project of sewing hats for adult cancer patients four years ago. The Multiscan company was one of the first two clinics for whom Ms Rybová and her friends from the running group sewed hats. Now the project has grown significantly, with 17 clinics already donated, and Ms Rybová's efforts have been rewarded this year by the Lilia and Karel Janeček Foundation with a financial donation and the title #laskavec.

This year Věra Rybová did not forget about the patients of the cancer centre in Pardubice. The cooperation has been going on since the beginning of the project, and in addition to the oncology there, Ms Rybová will also head to our detached workplaces in Ústí nad Orlicí and Svitavy.

"We are very happy that our paths crossed and we could be at the birth of this charitable idea. The caps not only bring comfort to the patients, but they are mainly a sign that someone other than their family, friends and the health professionals who care for them are thinking about them," said the spokeswoman of Multiscan s.r.o. Naďa Hloušová.

The jury of the Lilia and Karel Janeček Foundation has now also appreciated Ms Rybová's indomitable will and humanity and awarded her, in addition to a financial gift, the title of #laskavec of the year.
