"Radiodiagnostics has two reception areas, each located at the opposite end of the department. In order to make the patient visit more efficient, we are now using an information kiosk in addition to the reception desks to serve as the first point of contact with a newly arrived client," says Barbora Švédová, the department's head of operations.
The aim of putting the information kiosk into operation is to relieve the receptionists of the simple administration associated with patient registration and to simplify the work in the ward by means of electronic registration of new arrivals in the in-house system.
The use of the information kiosk is completely intuitive and user-friendly and does not take more than a minute of time. In order to use it, it is necessary to carry an identity document (insurance card, ID card or driving licence), which is inserted into the kiosk.
