Although the forecast for 6 June was not too favourable, over 60 children arrived at the Rope Centre in Pardubice. Eventually the weather calmed down and the children, together with their parents and grandparents, spent a pleasant afternoon full of fun, games and competitions.
The programme of the children's day was divided into two areas. In one part of the centre there was a competition area where children tried out various sports activities and disciplines, in the other they played on permanent attractions such as a bouncy castle, climbing wall, rope obstacles or bungee trampoline.
Throughout the afternoon, the children were provided with snacks and drinks, which they could choose based on the tokens presented. However, there was always a rush to replenish the liquids, as all the attractions had to be tried, and perhaps several in a row. The little participants were then rewarded for their bravery and combativeness with a packet of small gifts.
The time spent together was spent in a great mood and mutual association not only among colleagues, but also among children who mostly saw each other for the first time in their lives. Based on the very positive reactions, we believe that this year's Multiscan will start the tradition of the annual Children's Day.
What do the employees themselves have to say about Children's Day with Multiscan?
"I would like to thank you very much for organising the Children's Day. It was wonderful," says Martina Jonášová from radiotherapy.
"Thank you for a very nice event, the boys had a great time," joins Oldrich Vincent, a doctor from the diagnostics department.
"The Children's Day was a great chance for me to get to know my colleagues as parents and remember our carefree childhood... and give space to the joy of movement for our children... To show them that being in the fresh air and meeting new friends is more natural than sitting at home in front of a tablet or PC and being under the strong influence of the media," summarizes Olívie Husnaiová, a nurse from the clinical oncology outpatient clinic.
