Multiscan completed the modernization of instrumentation for 84 million crowns

The Multiscan Oncology and Radiology Centre in Pardubice has successfully completed the implementation of a project aimed at supplementing and renewing instrumentation in order to increase the capacity of diagnostics, to improve the technical preparation of treatment of oncology patients and to introduce advanced methods of radiotherapy into clinical practice.

The project significantly contributes to improving the quality and accessibility of cancer care in the region. The modernisation included strengthening the diagnostic infrastructure, implementation of innovative treatment procedures and expansion of the technological background of the centre.

The total cost of the project amounted to approximately CZK 84 million. Of this, CZK 70 million was financed by the European Union - NextGenerationEU through the National Recovery Plan (Component 6.2.4 - Development of highly specialised haemato-oncology and oncology care, Project No. CZ.31.8.0/0.0/0.0/23_072/0008223).

The implementation of the project is part of a broader strategy of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic aimed at the development of highly specialised oncological and haemato-oncological care and at strengthening the capacity of comprehensive cancer centres.
