We distributed 56 trips to Greece among our employees

21. 7. 2022

Every year we want to reward selected employees with a summer holiday in Greece. This year we have chosen the beautiful island of Kos.

The Atlantis hotel complex, located right by the beach, offered our staff all inclusive meals and a beautiful sandy beach. The hotel's proximity to the main town of Kos with its harbour atmosphere is also a great advantage.

All colleagues have already returned from their holidays and have not spared words of praise.

"I would like to thank you very much for the opportunity to experience such a wonderful holiday. The hotel was absolutely wonderful. They looked after us beautifully, smiled, were very kind. And the whole island is beautiful. Thank you so much for the opportunity to experience this."

Renata Stará, radiotherapy assistant

"A big thank you, we were thrilled, a great group came together and we really enjoyed relaxing, lots of fun, the excursions and the hotel and everything around it was absolutely luxurious."

Gabriela Zrůstová, General Nurse, Clinical Oncology Outpatient Clinic

"Our children flew for the first time and really enjoyed it. The island of Kos is beautiful and although the kids would spend most of their time in the sea or in the pool, my husband and I prefer active holidays so we rented a car and travelled around the island during our stay. I would like to thank you for a wonderful holiday."

Alena Suchá, HR Manager

"My husband and I really enjoyed our holiday on Kos. I would like to thank both the hospital management for the wonderful benefit of a beautiful holiday on a Greek island, and I would also like to thank my colleagues who nominated me this year and gave me their votes. Hotel Atlantis is very nice, clean, with a beautiful beach and garden with swimming pools. Great staff, rich buffet and hotel service made every day even more enjoyable for us. My husband and I literally traveled the island cross-country by car, buggy, bicycle, and on foot. Before we flew out, I looked up interesting places on Kos on the internet and basically I can say that we managed to visit all of them and we also enjoyed sunbathing on the half empty beach and swimming in the refreshing sea. For me, the most beautiful of the whole island is the Kefalos peninsula, with its eponymous town, traditional Greek blue and white churches, windmills and beautiful beaches. The most beautiful view from Kefalos is of the islet of Kastri with its small church, where even weddings are held. We swam to the islet from Kamari Bay. It is an absolutely amazing romantic place! The Antimachia windmill is fully operational, and the hospitable operators gave us a tour and treated us to goat cheese and bread baked in the original bakery that is part of the mill. Another beautiful place is the Empros Thermae thermal baths on the south-east coast of the island. Here a hot, healing thermal spring rises into the sea and mixes with seawater in a rocky lagoon, making the water as warm as a bath. The sand on the surrounding beaches is blackened by volcanic activity. The village of Zia, the port of Kardamena, the Plaka Nature Park full of hand-feeding peacocks, a freshwater lake with flamingos, the archaeological site of Asklepion, which is basically an ancient hospital where Hippocrates worked, are also unforgettable experiences. The capital of Kos itself with its large harbour is also worth a visit, but it was too busy for us. Taverns and alleys crowded with noisy tourists are not our thing. The only downside was that the holiday flew by too quickly, but we came back relaxed, tanned and full of unforgettable experiences."

Daniela Gregorová, general nurse, ARO

"First of all, I would like to thank the hospital management for the great opportunity to spend a wonderful holiday with my daughter in Greece. We were completely satisfied with the accommodation, everything was clean, the staff was helpful and friendly. Swimming in the sea, walks to the capital, delicious food, everything recharged us with new strength and energy."
