In addition to the oncology centre, Multiscan also operates a radiodiagnostics department in Pardubice, which boasts the latest technology in imaging methods. It has computed tomography, ultrasound, diagnostic and therapeutic X-rays, and especially two magnetic resonance imaging machines, which are in operation every day, including weekends and holidays.
Since May of this year, patients have been admitted to the MRI scanner, which has undergone significant technical improvements. The existing Siemens Avanto 1.5T machine has been upgraded to the newer Siemens Avanto Fit 1.5T, which offers a higher quality examination, enabling doctors to assess the area to be examined even better. The refurbishment also includes a complete replacement of the coils used to scan the area under examination, with the addition of a coil for wrist diagnosis, as well as new examination options that benefit, among other things, from higher quality 3D imaging.
"At AKESO Holding we strive for the continuous development of individual medical facilities. In parallel with the construction of new premises and renovation of existing premises, the purchase and replacement of equipment is ongoing. We regularly monitor new developments and try to keep up with new trends in order to provide patients with the highest quality care in the best possible conditions," says Martina Kulštejnová, Executive Director of AKESO Holding.
