Although Multiscan is a medical facility and the vast majority of its employees could provide first aid without any problems, the development of new trends and methods in the field of life saving, as well as the constant repetition and reminding of basic information, the perfect knowledge of which can save a human life, cannot be ignored.
The subject of the course was to outline the most common crisis situations that require immediate initiation of first aid, the procedures for its solution and the mistakes in its provision, which were shown directly on specific cases recorded by the rescue service. Participants of the course could see how to properly strangle the affected area and stop massive bleeding, or in the case of unconsciousness on an artificial dummy to try how to proceed in saving life, or how automatic external defibrillators work. Other equally important topics included what to do in a car accident, inhalation of a foreign body or burns and intoxication.
A total of about 100 employees take the first aid course at Multiscan. The first training course has already taken place and the next one is scheduled for 12 December 2018. In addition to the non-medical medical staff, administrative staff will also attend.
"We are aware that perfect mastery of the basic principles of first aid is very important. Since we can never predict what situation we will get into, it is necessary for each of us to constantly master them and, when necessary, not hesitate to provide help," says ing. Pavel Pivrnec, Director of Multiscan s.r.o.
