Information for patients of the Comprehensive Cancer Centre

2. 11. 2015

We are pleased to replace the original information from this site about the difficulties with the MoH in providing top-notch cancer care. Our cancer centre has continued to provide comprehensive treatment, including biological treatment, over the past six months, thanks to the pragmatic approach and understanding of health insurance companies, especially the largest of them, the General Health Insurance Company.

Dear Clients,

Since July this year, the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic has included the Multiscan Radiology Centre in cooperation with the Hradec Králové University Hospital in the list of top oncology centres in the Czech Republic.

From a practical point of view, it does not matter whether the Methodological Instructions of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic mention the Pardubice Hospital or the Radiological Centre Multiscan, because the Cancer Centre of the Pardubice Region has been composed of these two cooperating entities since the beginning in 2006. Only for the first three years the materials of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic mentioned only the Pardubice Hospital and now they mention the second part of the KOC, the Multiscan Radiological Centre.

The re-inclusion of the Pardubice Oncology in the Bulletin of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic enables the continuation of the provision of top-class oncological care in its entirety for the citizens of the Pardubice Region. Our department, in cooperation with the Pardubice Regional Hospital and the Pardubice Region, is ready to expand its services to meet all the requirements set for top oncology departments. In June this year, it started the central preparation of cytostatics, and currently two floors of building No. 30 on the premises of the Pardubice Regional Hospital are ready for the establishment of a modern inpatient unit for oncology patients.

We firmly believe that those who have remained loyal to our workplace even in times when its professional level was unjustifiably questioned will remain our clients and those others who have been discouraged by the campaign will return to us. We want to reassure both groups that we will do our utmost to ensure that they are satisfied with our healthcare and that its effect is maximised.

In Pardubice, 30 July 2009

Director of Multiscan, s.r.o.
