The fourth edition of Best of ASTRO Czech Republic was a success

The fourth edition of the event, traditionally held under the banner of Multiscan s.r.o., offered the general public a lot of new information and findings that were originally presented at the American Best of ASTRO Congress in San Antonio at the end of last year.

Dozens of Czech oncologists visited Dřítč near Pardubice and had the opportunity to hear the latest treatment findings in the field of lung, head and neck or prostate cancer.

According to the president of the symposium and the head of the radiation oncology and radiology centre Multiscan doc. Martin Dolezel, M.D., Ph.D., the greatest interest was aroused by the lectures concerning new information in the treatment of prostate cancer and the expanding indications of stereotactic radiotherapy.

Among the lecturers were Prof. Karel Odrážka, M.D., Ph.D. from Multiscan, Prof. Pavel Šlampa, M.D., Ph.D. from MOÚ Brno, Prof. Jiří Petera, M.D., Ph.D. from the Department of Oncology and Radiotherapy at the Hradec Králové University Hospital and many others.

Thanks to the positive feedback from the participants of the symposium, who appreciated not only the quality of the lectures but also the high organizational level, Multiscan expects to continue the tradition and organize further editions in the following years.
